Statement Regarding Arrest of
Gregory Horan
Today the Boston Police Department, District
A1 Drug Control Unit arrested 30 year old Gregory Horan and
charged him with drug trafficking and possession with intent to
distribute, among other related charges. It has been determined
that Mr. Horan is employed by the City of Boston in the Human
Resources department as a worker’s compensation claims
agent. The City of Boston has placed him on unpaid administrative
leave, effective immediately, pending the outcome of this
investigation.
"I would like to thank the Boston Police Department
and our law enforcement partners for their hard work and commitment
to keeping dangerous narcotics off of our city streets,” said Mayor
Thomas M. Menino. “This type of behavior will not be tolerated and
we will continue to hold ourselves to
a higher standard.”

of counsel or treatment.
