As part of a series of new initiatives to reduce the volume of trash in East Boston, the City is sending mechanical street sweepers throughout Jeffries Point on Thursday, March 11th and Friday, March 12th from 9AM to 1PM. Please check the list of streets below and make sure to move your car on the appropriate date. Call me at 617 635 3485 with questions.

Regular street sweeping will return on April 1st, but this effort is targeting areas with chronic problems.

• This effort is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12 between the hours of 9:00AM – 1:00PM. The even sides of the streets will be swept on Thursday and the odd sides on Friday

• Temporary signage for parking restrictions will be posted at least 48 hours in advance on your street.

• Sumner Street, from Orleans to Jefffries
