J.P. Neighborhood Association
Meeting Mon. Feb 9.
Residents of the Jeffries Point Community and all
interested parties are cordially invited to attend the monthly
meeting of the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association, Monday,
February 9. at 7:00PM. The meeting will take place at
the Jeffries Yacht Club.
Agenda:
Representatives from the Massachusetts Port
Authority will come to the meeting to update the community regarding
their proposed construction of a 9,000-space Logan consolidated
rental car and relocated commercial parking garage, which would be
located, literally, within a stone’s throw of homes in the Gove
Street neighborhood (in back of the homes on Maverick Street,
the site of the old post office). The awarding of a $30 million
contract to design and manage the construction of the proposed $455
million project.
Geneva Street issues – Update
Anthony Petruccelli State Senator, Carlo Basile
State Representative, Sal Lamattina City Councilor will attend the
meeting. City Councilors At-Large have been invited to attend this
meeting. If they can not attend a representative from their office
will come
