The East Boston Land Use Council is proud to
announce that we are accepting Applications for Grants from The
Leonard Florence Memorial Grant Program and the East Boston Bulgroup
Tuition Grant Program.
Please read this carefully, as there are significant changes to the
Application Process!
Each year we receive a Construction / Mitigation settlement check in
the amount of $20,000.00 dollars from a local business who Sub
Divided their property located at 175 McClellan Highway East Boston,
to allow six other businesses to operate on it.
The E.B.L.U.C. awards ALL of the $20,000.00 dollars we get directly
to the Community of East Boston in the form of Charitable Grants.
The East Boston Land Use Council “IS NOT allowed under any
circumstances to receive any money from this fund.” In fact, we pay
ALL expenses, such as Postage, Paper, Envelopes Etc. to process this
Grant Program from our own petty cash fund.
A- You must be an East Boston Resident with proof of Residency.
B- You must send us a Postage Paid, Self Addressed, Letter Sized
envelope.
C- We make the payments directly to the “Vendor only”.
CA-Under NO circumstances do we make direct payments to an
Individual, or Group.
D- The funds cannot be used to Subsidize any City, State, or Federal
Government Program.
E- Events, and or Groups that sponsor the “Selling, Promoting of, or
giving away of any Alcoholic Beverages at said Event, or Group are
NOT eligible for a Grant.
