Full weekend schedule to take effect October 16-17
BOSTON — September 8, 2010 – The Boston Public Library’s full
weekend schedule will take effect system-wide on the weekend of
October 16-17, 2010. Saturday hours will return to Boston Public
Library branches on October 16; Sunday hours will return to the
Central Library in Copley Square on October 17.
Saturday hours in the Boston Public Library branches vary per
location, but are typically 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. –
3:00 p.m., or 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The only branches that will
not have Saturday hours are the Brighton branch (at 40 Academy
Hill Road), which is currently closed for renovations, and the
Washington Village branch (at 1226 Columbia Road in South
Boston), which does not have Saturday hours.
Sunday hours at the Central Library will be 1:00 p.m. – 5:00
p.m. The Central Library is open year-round on Saturdays 9:00
a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
