East Boston Main Streets (EBMS) hosted Merchant Meeting on Liquor Licenses

On Wednesday, September 23, 2015 East Boston Main Streets hosted its monthly Merchant Meeting at the Community Room at Enferrados Bar at 127 Maverick St. to discuss Liquor Licenses.

(East Boston, MA 28-September-2015) East Boston Main Streets hosted its monthly Merchant Meeting last Wednesday, September 23rd at the Community Room at 127 Maverick St. This was the final in a series of monthly meetings to discuss liquor licenses.

Bringing together over 35 attendees representing 18 distinct East Boston businesses, EBMS presented the business community with an extraordinary roster of speakers including Pamela Carver, Executive Director of Operations for the City of Boston Licensing Board, Investigators Rose Egan-Bailey and Brad Doyle from the State of Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, Representatives from On Point Security Systems, Claudia Correa from Mayor Walsh’s Office of Neighborhood Services, as well As Cpt. Kelly McCormick and officers of the Licensed Premises Unit.

Attendees were informed about the correct process to apply for liquor licenses, change their current licenses, as well as duties and responsibilities as the holder of such licenses to ensure the safety of their guests and success of their business.

Please join EBMS and local merchants at October’s Merchant Meeting on Wednesday the 22nd at 127 Maverick St. to discuss Holiday Marketing for the coming Winter Holiday Season.
