Great Chef and Station 7
honored at Boston Main Streets 2008 awards ceremony
On Thursday June 11, 2009 Boston Main Streets held
its annual awards ceremony to honor local recipients for the
Volunteer and Business of the year award.
East Boston, MA.15-June-2009 East Boston Main Streets is proud to
announce that Sergeant Arthur McCarthy and the community service
officers at Station 7 were awarded the volunteer of the year for
2008. The Community Service Office has gone above and beyond the
call of duty as volunteer board members, participating in events and
creating a positive connection to the neighborhood.
This years’ recipient of East Boston Main Streets Business of the
year is Angus Mui from Great Chef in Day Square and Orient Heights.
Great Chef has been a proud participant in every annual Taste of
Eastie event since 1996 and is a generous supporter to many East
Boston organizations.
