Catholic Schools Begin 2012- 2013 Enrollment

Catholic grade schools in the community are beginning enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year. Registration for new families at East Boston Central Catholic Schools (69 London Street, East Boston) will begin January 23rd, 2012 and the school will host an open house January 25, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. These events lead up to Catholic Schools Week which is, January 30th - February 3rd. This year our Catholic schools celebrate the theme of “Faith, Academics, Service.”

East Boston Central Catholic School strives to serve the families of the community by providing an excellent education based on the qualities of this year’s Catholic Schools Week theme. It is a school with a close-knit community that is open to all students. The school offers financial aid and it works diligently with families to make a faith-based education a possibility for those who desire it.

Recently East Boston Central Catholic School, with the support of the Catholic School Foundation and the Catholic Schools Office, collaborated to create a new position to help fulfill their commitment of excellent education to their communities and increase awareness of Catholic education. Megan Adzima serves as an Admissions Advocate. In this position Megan supports future and current families who enroll their children in Catholic schools, focusing specifically on Hispanic and immigrant families.

This position is made possible through a grant from the Catholic Schools Foundation, which through its Hispanic Recruitment Initiative, recognizes the importance of reaching out to Hispanic families in the Boston community in order to strengthen Catholic schools, help them grow, and allow students to succeed.

Anyone interested in learning more about Catholic schools in the community is encouraged to contact Megan Adzima at 203-273-4189 or email her at
admissionscollaborative@gmail.com.
