sailing in Boston Harbor, free food and live music.

Get There: The scenic way: Board a Water Taxi from any downtown
Boston location and be whisked across the harbor to Piers Park in 5
minutes! For the less adventurous, Piers Park is a short 5 minute
drive from downtown Boston through the Sumner Tunnel or a 2-3 minute
train ride from downtown Boston via the Blue Line Aquarium T stop.
About Piers Park Sailing Center
Piers Park Sailing Center (PPSC) is located at the heart of Boston
Harbor in Boston’s newest award-winning waterfront park. The closest
non-profit and recreational sailing center to downtown Boston, PPSC
is visible from all of Boston’s waterfront vantage points and easily
accessible to all of Greater Boston.
PPSC’s non-profit mission is to provide recreational, educational
and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages and
abilities, and its youth program serves more than 700 of the city’s
most at-risk youth every year with a comprehensive curriculum of
adventure, learning and empowerment. PPSC’s adult sailing club
provides adults of all ages and abilities with world class sailing
and instruction on Boston Harbor and throughout the Boston Harbor
Islands just minutes from downtown while helping to support the
youth program.
All of PPSC’s programs have been nationally recognized for adaptive
sailing accessibility. Led by 2008 Paralympic Gold Medalist Maureen
McKinnon-Tucker, PPSC serves people of all ages with a wide range of
physical and cognitive disabilities.
