Library at 276 Meridian Street

 Beginning in the first week in February, two weekly programs for young children start at the East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library, 276 Meridian Street. The Lap-Sit Story Time takes place on Tuesday at 10:30 and runs from February 4^th through May 27^th. This story time is for children under three, and their adults, The library offers stories, song, fingerplays and chants for young ones. Preschool Story Time is held on Wednesdays at 10:30, February 5^th through May 28^th, and is for children aged 3 though 6. Stories, songs, chants and crafts help children started with reading readiness concepts. Please stop by the Library or call 617-569-0217 to learn more about these programs.
