East Boston's First Annual Sculpture, 3D Installation, Out Door Art and Gardening Contest

Head to 80 Border Street May 21 to see East Boston's First Annual Sculpture, 3D Installation, Out Door Art and Gardening Contest. The event is geared to enhance public space by showcasing the creativity of area residents through art and gardening.

All mediums accepted like sculptures, site specific installation, mixed media, art works in wood, metal, stone, pottery, fabric, tile ceramics. Outdoor paint and photography even, as long as it can withstand the elements or you don’t mind the weathering process.Come show off your gardening skills, if you dare, with flowers, plants, topiaries, etc…

Judging will take place May 21, 2009 at the Atlantic Works Gallery’s Third Thursday reception, by People’s Choice Votes by those attending reception and for participating pieces. So make sure to  come on down and vote( but remember you can’t vote for own piece).
