Hidden Insides

September 26th through October 30, 1998

This show's opening on Saturday, September 26 will feature live performances and the opportunity to meet the exhibiting artists.

On Saturday, October 10, ArtVigor will feature an evening of poetry and film, featuring "On Tour Without A Band" spoken word from Mass. College of Art as well as a screening of rare and occult films hosted by Grayel Johnson.

Both events are 8 p.m. to midnight and open to all. .

This first show in ArtVigor's second year Hidden Insides is a group show of new works. The works in this exhibit emphasize the play between imagination and what is expected to be seen. The works include painting, large scale ink drawings, photography, stone and copper tube sculptures. Individual these works have examine the values of gesture, space and the figure ground relationships, together these objects will compliment each other as each has its own unique focus on texture, scale and form. The artists in this show include: Ed Ott, David Koshiol, Anushka Pabst, Bonnie Dubin, and collaborative works by Chris Taylor and George Poulos.
