The World Italian Sausage Eating Championship at the 14th Annual East Boston Italia Unita Festival to feature several top Food Warriors from across America Saturday July 19th 2008.

Join WTKK’s Radio host Michele McPhee and “The Guy from Boston” who will emcee the Worlds Largest Italian Sausage Eating Contest on July 19th.

Expected to compete is the 99 lb female eating sensation and fifth ranked Elizabeth “Rubber-Gut” Cassidy who competed and defeated the great Japanese Food Warrior Sugawara at the Hard Rock Café in Tokyo Japan.  Also, competing will be the much-heralded Virginian Ian “the Invader” Hickman who is the current World Record Holder in Chili when he consumed and incredible 10.2 LBS in only five minutes at the Mid-West Chili Eating Championship in Canton Ohio in February of 2008.  Also, expected to attend, will be the National Fudge Brownie Eating Champion and multi-title holder Mark Lyle “The Human Vacuum” who hails from Columbus Ohio.
