THE BIG DIG

Author David Kruh will present a one-hour slide show and lecture on the $14 billion dollar Big Dig (Central Artery/Tunnel) project currently in progress in Boston. He will also discuss the changes which have taken place in Boston over the last 400 years as a result of publicly-financed infrastructure projects.

March 12th, 2001 @ 6:30p.m.

David Kruh is the author of Always Something Doing in Scollay Square and co-author of Presidential Landmarks. His columns have appeared in the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, and Yankee Magazine. He is also a writer of The Curse of the Bambino Musical which is premiering at the Boston Lyric Stage on April 20th, 2001.
