After 11 great years on the Boston City
Council, my family and I have decided it is time to move on from public
service. I have learned so much from so many great people that I have
worked with and worked for over the past three decades. Having spent
more than thirty years of my life working in City Government, I look
forward to enjoying my retirement from public service and spending more
time with my family and friends. I am grateful to have had the
confidence of the thousands of people who have supported me over the
years. I want to thank my past and present colleagues on the Boston City
Council for their generosity, guidance and friendship. It has truly been
an honor and privilege to serve along side my many friends in City,
State and Federal Government on behalf of the people who live, work and
make this great City what it is. The best is yet to come.
