Meet at 5:30 PM at the Caboose to walk the Greenway to identify locations for new trees and bulletin boards as well as to see the blooming daffodils and daylilies starting to come up!

·        Process for “Grow Boston Greener” new trees – Volunteers for planting and care.

·        New Bulletin Board – Volunteers for posting and updating information.

4. Caboose Planning Project – Draft Report

5. Greenway Safety and Security Update

 6. East Boston Parks and Open Space Guide

7. Bremen St. Park

•     Friends of Bremen St. Park

•     Summer performances at amphitheater, permits & permissions

•     Bremen Street Park gates – Massport to come to May meeting.

8.  Programming & Volunteers

•     Sunday May 4, 1:00 p.m.: New Greenspaces of East Boston Walk from Jeffries Point to Bremen Street Park. Volunteers needed as guides for Sunday May 4 walk. Please offer your expertise to the community! Call Candice at 617.542.7696

•     Wednesday May 7, 4:00 p.m.: History Walk with Nancy Seasholes, sponsored by TBHA

•     Saturday June 14 9:00 a.m.: Canoe Belle Isle – Call DCR to register, ages 12 and up. 617.727.1199 x204.

•     Youth Conservation Corps 2008 - Recruiting Supervisors, Corps members, ideas for projects and murals. Help spread the word!!
