Greenway Clean-up

Lend a helping hand for a clean-up
along the Greenway. We are looking for enthusiastic
volunteers who have a few hours to spare on Saturday.
Tools, bags, and some gloves will be provided.
Migratory Bird Census
Belle Isle Marsh

8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The International Migratory Bird
Census will be going on through out the world and you
can be part of it. All levels of bird watchers from
beginners to experts are welcome to join us in this
bird count. An opportunity to see some great birds
and improve your birding skills.

Are you ready for the spring arrival
of birds? Do you need to build a bird house for your
yard or would you like to build one for Belle Isle?

Come walk along the Greenway and
enjoy spring as it sprouts up around us. Naturalist
Helga Burre will lead this leisure nature walk.

Environmental Fair

Mary O'Malley Park, Chelsea:
3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Join the Chelsea Creek Action Group
for an environmental fair. There will be many fun
activities including boat cruises on Chelsea creek,
kids nature crafts, hands-on, exhibits, food, music,

Secrets of the Salt
Marsh
Belle Isle Marsh
Saturday, June 6th 10 a.m. - 12 noon
Go beyond the paths at Belle Isle and
visit the secret places not usually seen by the
public, MDC's Karl Pastore will lead us to his
favorite places in the marsh.
Canoeing at Belle Isle
Sunday, June 7th,
10 a.m. 12- p.m.
Explore Belle Isle by Canoe. We will
leave the quiet inlets and try to see as much of the
marsh as possible. Limited space, reservations
required.
