Pride Month Flag Raising in East Boston

Local LGBT and Supporters to raise Rainbow Flag
June 13th, 2014 at 6:30PM
Piers Park at East Boston

(East Boston, MA) – In light of marking June as official LGBT Pride Month, residents from across East Boston come together to build and strengthen a sense of community for local LGBT citizens.

With support from the offices of Mayor Martin J. Walsh, State Senator Anthony Petruccelli, State Representative Carlo Basile, and City Councilor Salvatore LaMattina, a ceremonial raising of the Rainbow Flag has been arranged at Piers Park in East Boston. An opening statement will be given by local resident, Kevin Hsu.

All those in attendance are encouraged to bring a blanket and stay to enjoy the park and get to know their community.
