East Boston well-represented at MA Republican Convention in Worcester
Members of the East Boston Republican Committee were Delegates at the 2018 Mass GOP Convention in Worcester this past week.
According to the Delegates, it was the most exciting convention that they had been to in the past several years.
From the contested race for Governor between Charlie Baker and Scott Lively in which Scott Lively outlined his conservative beliefs in a passionate and spirited speech and obtained ballot status in September by gathering an amazing 28% of the vote to the five candidates and the 2 ballots it took to officially nominate a US Senate candidate.
Long shot candidate for US Senate from Lowell, Darius Mitchell, gave an inspiring speech which brought the entire convention to a cheering standing ovation.
The East Boston Delegates left the hall energized and enthused about moving forward to the September primary and beyond to the final in November!
