East Boston Calendar to benefit Mario Umana Academy and EBMS

(East Boston, MA. 10-November-2011) With the new 2012 East Boston Main Streets Calendar, local Artist Leigh Hall has captured the old and new.

Thanks to help from the Boston Public Library, Leigh has mixed historic photographs with contemporary images of East Boston.

Some of these dramatic transformations that have occurred over the years unfold in the pages of the 2012 calendar and are amazing.

East Boston Main Streets has designed this calendar as a fundraiser for the Mario Umana Academy and East Boston Main Streets with 50 percent of the proceeds going directly to the school.

Graphic designer Todd Antonellis organzied the calendar, the product of a collaboration between local talent and EBMS.

The spiral bound calendar is $10.00 and contains 50 coupons, all from local businesses -- saving shoppers hundreds of dollars on food, gifts, shoes, clothing and jewelry. There are even freebies!

You can pre-order your calendar by contacting or contacting at 617-561-1044. Calendars will also be available at MP&CO, 146 Maverick Street and other participating businesses.

Donít miss out! Call now to reserve your 2012 East Boston calendar
