Tour Of East Boston's Bike Connections: August 25

Explore existing and planned bike facilities in East Boston

BOSTON, MA – August 7, 2013 –Join BNAN for a fun and informative bike tour of East Boston’s bike possibilities. Starting at Bremen Street Park near the Airport T Station entrance, we will bike along the East Boston Greenway and some back roads to explore where the East Boston Greenway is heading and how bike facilities will make the ride easier. We will end the ride at Piers Park at 6 p.m. and enjoy a Zumix music concert in the park.

The program is FREE, but registration is required. Helmets required!

The bike tour will begin at 4 p.m. at the Airport T entrance and end by 6 p.m. at Piers Park. The ride will be 6 to 8 miles at an easy pace with frequent stops on mostly flat roads and off road paths.

Boston Natural Areas Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together local residents, partner organizations, public officials and foundations to preserve, expand, and enhance urban open space, including community gardens, greenways, and urban wilds.
